Highlight

  • Battery Technology cuts peak-hour energy costs. Reducing operational complexity, cutting costs by half, and minimizing points of failure with integrated battery and inverter technology.

1. Value Proposition

  • The Battery: Monolith is a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery that stores renewable energy, such as solar and wind, and supplies it back during peak demand hours. It helps businesses avoid extra charges typically incurred during these high-cost periods.

2. Pain Points

  • High Peak-Hour Charges: Monolith helps businesses mitigate this by storing energy during off-peak hours and supplying it when demand is highest.
  • Unreliable Power Grids: Monolith’s energy storage system provides backup power, ensuring businesses remain operational during grid failures or power shortages.

3. Climate Impact

  • Pairing Monolith on clean energy sources, reducing reliance on grid and fossil fuels, facilitating renewable energy adoption,0[KF and reducing carbon footprint.
  • Monolith reduces the dependence on diesel generators, which are commonly used for backup power but are heavy polluters.

4. Current & Future Target Segments

  • Current Target Segments: Hotels, factories, showrooms, educational institutions, and solar EPC installers.
  • Future Target Segments: Expanding into larger industrial and commercial sectors, and grid-scale applications with 1 MWh capacity batteries.

5. USPs

  • Cell-level control of lithium-ion batteries: Traditional batteries have multiple layers of electronics to manage battery performance and convert DC to AC power. Resilience’s design integrates all these functions into a single switching circuit mounted directly onto the battery cells.
  • Operational Costs: By integrating the inverter into the battery, the operational cost is reduced by 10 times.

6. Team Profiles

  • Mukesh Rajasekar (Founder & CEO): Mukesh Rajasekar has experience in developing and delivering energy storage solutions for businesses. His deep understanding of lithium-ion battery technology has been instrumental in creating Monolith.
