All right, this is not exactly a startup, not at least in the sense most of us understand startups.

But the reason to include it here is because it shows how many renewable energy developers are showing increasing interest in biomass energy, in addition to the evergreen favourite solar power plants. Now, such an interest could well augur a significant growth of startups in the overall bio-energy sector - be it in the upstream sector (agri-waste collection, briquetting, torrefaction...) or in domains such as agri waste to bio-CNG.
